We represent children with disabilities in special education and civil rights disputes with school districts that fail to comply with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ("IDEA") and Regional Centers that fail to comply with the Lanterman Act.
OUR MISSION
To assist special needs children by securing for them a "free appropriate public education" in the "least restrictive environment" under the IDEA, together with the necessary services to maximize their potential under the Lanterman Act.
RESULTS COUNT
In 2005, Steven Wyner obtained a record $6.7 million settlement in the Porter case. In 2006, Steven Wyner
was recognized by the California State Legislature for his "outstanding commitment to providing quality legal services to the people of California," and also received the prestigious California Lawyer of the Year Award in the area of civil rights. In addition,
he is among only five percent of California lawyers who have been selected for inclusion in Southern California Super Lawyers, based on peer recognition and professional achievement.
